hunii Be ministries is inspired by the story of Deborah, whose name means honey bee. She was the only woman to serve as a judge in her time, and led with confidence, obedience, accountability, and love for God; helping restore peace to His land that the enemy tried to keep under oppression and destruction.

Deborah stepped up as a bold prophetess, judge, and psalmist who was loved and trusted by all, she was viewed as a mother figure for God's people. She literally went to battle knowing that victory was absolute because of her ability to hear God clearly.

A Flame was lit under me the day I sat and read her story. This was the type of woman I prayed and sought out to become. Going down the wide road of self-centered shallow ambition, I was headed for a path of lonely bitterness. God came along and said daughter BE better, not bitter. And the scripture that spoke to me the loudest, and does to this day, read "May your enemies have a death like Sisera, but those who love you rise like the sun (Son) and all its power!" Judges 5:31.

I decided I was going to rise up and live!
